Activities
We hold a luncheon meeting in the Gun Room of the Naval Officers Training Centre at Work Point Barracks, Building 1367, in Esquimalt the third Wednesday of each month except July and August, commencing at 1200. The bar opens at 1100. We have a guest speaker whose subject is generally related to aviation. The cost of the meeting, including lunch, is $15.00.
There is a special luncheon at Christmas as well as a summer BBQ in August. Spouses and friends are welcome at these special events. There are also other informal activities such as a walking group which meets every Tuesday for a walk and lunch.
Working Committees
We have a Welfare Committee, a Telephone Committee, an Air Cadet Liaison Committee and a newsletter called Airvibes.
We have published two books, Listen to Us and Aircrew Memories. They are both available in Victoria Public Libraries.
